Mary Bishai
Mary (Owner / Registered Physiotherapist) graduated from Cairo University in Egypt with a Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy in 2001, and then she got her Master Degree in Physiotherapy in 2008. Her dream became true as she moved to Canada as a federal skilled worker in 2013 and got her License as a physiotherapist in Canada in 2014. She continued her education to assure quality of care for her patients by completing Pelvic Floor course for treating urinary incontinence problems (i.e post pregnancy, post spinal cord injuries, old age, etc.)
She later took McKenzie courses, which focuses on mechanical diagnosis and therapy for neck, back, and radiating pain disorder. Mary also increased her tool belt by adding acupuncture and dry needling to help with musculoskeletal problems.
She later took advanced taping course “Dynamic taping” which gave her the ability to customize any tape job for any individual to improve muscle activation and decrease pain and muscle tightness, APTEI Shoulder course for diagnosing and treating different shoulder dysfunctions. Mary also completed the GLAD program, which focuses on treatment and education of osteoarthritis.
Through her experience with working with active people (athletes, nurses, etc) she saw the benefits of custom-made orthotics, braces, and compression stockings, which allows them to continue participating with their active life during treatment. Temporomandibular Joint dysfunction (TMJ) is one of her specialities where she helps patients with jaw pain, headaches and neck pain, and she provides Vestibular and concussion rehab to help patients with dizziness, vertigo and other concussion symptoms, to help improve their quality of life and daily struggles.
Since 2015, she has taken a keen interest towards and teaching through accepting students for their placements. She took students from Ottawa, Queen’s, Western and Dalhousie Universities. They have all improved their profession and manual skills through their placements.
Mary has always had and interest in sports, particularly swimming, badminton, and biking. Growing in the Emirates and swimming at a competitive level, she developed the passion in treating sports injuries and bringing them back to their competitive edge. Mary enjoys many different activities with her family including traveling, board games and singing. Mary is a mother of three and cherishes the mother-baby bond and takes the pride in treating blocked milk ducts.

Sonia Bomshakian
Sonia completed the Post-Graduate diploma program in Pedorthics through Temple University of Podiatry and Kennesaw State University, graduating with Honors. She also completed the Health Sciences program at George Brown and the Orthotics Prosthetics Technical Program at Sunnybrook Hospital. During this time she made Sunnybrook Hospitals first Ski Prosthetic with a full Hydraulic Knee system, amongst many other specialized devices. She has a passion in finding new and innovative ways to help patients get active and mobile. As a Canadian Certified Pedorthist practicing since 2010, Sonia is determined to help people get back on their feet. Having foot or lower limb pain can be a debilitating and frustrating injury effecting both work and quality of life. With over 10 years working in Pedorthic and rehabilitation clinics across Ontario, Sonia has used her knowledge and experience to treat hundreds of satisfied patients of all ages. She is committed to providing the best and most comprehensive care for her patients. Sonia grew up in the foot care and footwear industry since she was a little girl. Her father and grandfather were both shoemakers & designers of footwear lines. She has fond memories as a child working with leathers and footwear and thoroughly understands lower limb biomechanics. Growing up, her family had an Orthopedic Footwear Centre in Markham that assisted clients all across Ontario. Because they specialized in fitting difficult and complicated cases, they had patients coming from clinics all across the province that were looking for specialized care. They succeeded in helping thousands of people to achieve optimum mobility. In her spare time Sonia loves swimming, lots of hiking through nature, daily exercise and working out at the gym.

Vishakha Kaushik
Vishakha Kaushik is a Registered Physiotherapist with a special interest in the assessment and management of musculoskeletal conditions, including back and neck pain, joint injuries, movement-related dysfunctions, and activity-related injuries. Her clinical approach combines comprehensive assessment, evidence-informed treatment, hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education to help individuals improve mobility, optimize function, and return to the activities that are important to them. Vishakha believes that successful rehabilitation begins with understanding each person’s unique goals, challenges, and lifestyle. She works collaboratively with patients to develop individualized treatment plans that support recovery, enhance physical function, and promote long-term self-management. Laura Mazier C Ped
Laura Mazier graduated with a Bachelor in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa and obtained her personal training certification through the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology upon graduation. Shortly after, she obtained her diploma in Pedorthics from the University of Western Ontario. By combining both disciplines, she has developed a philosophy of using custom made foot orthotics as healing devices, while at the same time working on soft tissue maintenance to strengthen the body’s structures and make the body work more efficiently. Because she makes the custom made foot orthotics herself, she is able to develop creative solutions to correct for more complex pathomechanics and joint deformities.
In her spare time she is very active, participating in various sports, skiing or running. Her mission in life is to evoke the love of being active and living life to the fullest from everyone she encounters.

Raymon Mikhail
Raymon Mikhail PT PhD is a registered physiotherapist and the founder of CN Physiotherapy. He began pursuing physiotherapy at Cairo university first obtaining his BSc in physical therapy and then his master’s degree. From there he pursued his PhD, studying neuro-regeneration in infants and how physical therapy can be utilized to improve their outcome. His completion and subsequent departure from academia marked 8 years on the tenure track at Cairo university. From there, he gained physiotherapy certifications in the UK, USA and finally settled in Canada’s capital, Ottawa. He has now been practicing in Canada since 2013. His years of education and experience have made him proficient in many different physical therapy treatments including, dry-needling, acupuncture, McKenzie MDT Therapy, and shockwave therapy. Involving patients in their treatment is one of his foremost goals, providing education and tips on how to recover and prevent injury in the future. Sahib Vilkhu Physiotherapy Resident
Sahib is a dedicated Resident Physiotherapist registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. As a physiotherapist in Ottawa, he brings together strong clinical expertise and a passion for movement, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy and a diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion.
With experience treating a wide range of conditions—including sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain, and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction—Sahib provides evidence-based physiotherapy care tailored to each individual. His approach combines manual therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education to restore function and help clients return to the activities they enjoy most.
